Autobiography - English Version
This book, written by four hands with the precious help of Sandra Bensoussan’s pen, has not been conceived to flatter my ego. I see it as an exchange, a sharing with all those who read it. The book will also serve as a means of transmission to my son and grandchildren, should they one day wish to learn more about their roots and my history.
More than twenty years have passed since the broadcast of America-America, the six episodes of the TV show “Strip Tease” which were consecrated to me alongside the renowned French chef Georges Perrier, whose famous restaurant Le Bec Fin in Philadelphia was once named the best restaurant in the United States.During the year 2021, I felt the desire to leave a tangible record of my existence to the people I love, by writing this book. You can’t go through life without passing on the keys to someone behind you... Throughout these lines, I tell the unvarnished story of my life’s great joys, but also of the hardships that have sometimes torn me apart. I would also like to highlight my twenty-year battle to preserve our planet.
